JOB DESCRIPTION
• As a Product Manager you will develop own and execute the product vision for alternative data strategy based on mobile SDK that will drive improvements in our customer funnel customer acquisition usage and engagement of business teams. • You will help design develop and deliver alternative data powered solution including problem definition data acquisition data exploration and visualization and to build tools for this process • You will partner with business managers and data scientists Risk and legal to develop valuable insights that will influence product and business decision. • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and insure on-time delivery • Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise in search • Create and own product roadmap and manage product release cycles. • Closely track industry trends and adapt strategy accordingly. • Engage with variety of stakeholders- business teams technical team to determine business requirements and technical considerations • Manage product backlog and sprint priority including creating user stories.
• BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical roles • MBA will be a plus • 8- 10 years of related product management experience in a technology company in financial services space. • Focused on deep and continuous understanding of needs of customers, end users and stakeholders • Experience in an analytical role in management consulting or in business operation in analytics environment • Interest and aptitude in data metrics, analysis, and trends and applied knowledge of measurements and program evaluation. • Experience in delivering Solutions leveraging databases (PostgresQL or My SQL) • Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations • Strong Command of Financial metrics and analytical skills with a talent for using data to inform product strategy • A Strong working knowledge of building and interfacing with REST APIs • Experience with articulating product questions pulling data from data sets (e.g. SQL) and using statistics Experience / Skills Desired • Understanding of mobile app development technologies and different types of APIs • Familiarity with data Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Tibco Spotfire to provide insight • Experience with one or more of the following data technologies, Relational databases, Data Warehousing, Reporting/BI, NoSQL, Big Data, Data Governance. • Experience in scripting with SQL extracting Large set of data and design of ETL flow • Experience with GIS-based programming environments (e.g. Python, R) is a plus
