As a member of the auth rate analytics team, you will:

o   Become a domain expert in your product areas and conduct rigorous data analysis to help improve customer experiences and identify profitable growth opportunities

o   Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and marketing teams to build world-class products and design hypothesis-driven experiments; make clear, coherent and holistic recommendations based on test results

o   Improve product experiences for 350+ million customers using data science techniques

o   Leverage the Objective & Key Results (OKR) framework to identify product metrics and monitor product performance through dashboards and ad hoc analysis

o   Present findings and recommendations to business and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

o   Data-driven mindset with a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics

o   4+ years of relevant work experience in analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing data insights into actionable recommendations

o   Working with large datasets, and expertise in converting business requirement into efficient queries. Experience in ordered analytical sql functions. 

o   Perform extensive exploratory analysis of new data, test hypothesis, and gather useful insights.

o   Experience with at least one cloud-based databases. 

o   Experience working with unstructured/NoSQL database.

o   Building basic applications using python. Good understanding of regular expressions, numpy, pandas, and other common python libraries. Experience with performance tuning, debugging and automation. Working with Git.

o   Good to have: Experience writing object oriented code. Creating reports and visualizations using python & html. Experience with parallelization of python codes.

o    Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools

o    Understand basic Data Science and statistics. Familiarity with using python/R for building basic ML models. Understand the concept of mathematical optimization (convex, gradient descent, etc.) and basic calculus. 

o   Familiarity with unix-like systems, and knowledge of basic tasks & commands. Ability to write basic shell-scripts.

o    Experience with R. time series analysis. Linear-programming. Hadoop. Anomaly Detection.

o   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to influence cross-functional teams

o   Experience/knowledge of employing statistical, data mining and machine learning algorithms (e.g. regression and clustering) on real-world problems is a plus

o   Expert at designing and analyzing experiments (Split testing, Multivariant testing, statistical significance). You will own the experiment end to end from estimating the number of days it will take to run the experiment to providing the readouts to your stakeholders.
