What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Collect, clean and organize data, analyze results, and develop recurrent and ad hoc reporting
- Acquire data from varied data sources both internal to GXO and provided by third parties
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Troubleshoot, optimize and audit existing reporting to maintain integrity
- Provide data visualizations and reporting to convey complex analysis in a digestible fashion
- Understand operational challenges and derive/collect data needed to provide insight to leadership
- Provide actionable reporting to drive operational functions
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of technical experience with data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence (Tableau, Oracle BI and Power BI), databases and programming (R, Python)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s in quantitative field (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Supply Chain or Statistics)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled with queries, writing reports and presenting findings
- Understanding of machine learning, data mining and experience in algorithmic program development and coding
