Oliver Wyman is looking for intern/junior data scientist to develop financial and risk models. As a data scientist, you’ll work as part of a product team with extensive data science and consulting experience, helping our clients solve their business issues and inventing new products that shape the future of Russian financial industry. The ideal candidate for this position is a graduate with mathematical background who can code on Python and SQL, knows main machine learning and neuro network libraries and want to self-develop in big data analysis and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Build from the scratch, validate and update financial and risk models with SQL and Python


• Perform analysis of various datasets


• Communicate with full-stack programmers to implement new features in production


• Look for new data sources and compare them between each other


• Deploy models to production environment

Requirements

• Mathematical mindset and experience in data science (Python): pandas, scikit, xgboost


• Good problem structuring skills and logic


• Higher education (Russian or equivalent) preferably in Economics / Technical disciplines


• Good English (both written and oral)
