Senior Data Scientist, Data Science & Advanced Analytics– the role

Development of machine learning and data mining technologies

Selection and application of machine learning techniques, in connection with Pharma Big Data to identify complex patterns

Development and execution of advanced analytics in the area of ​​Commercial Effectiveness and Real World Evidence in collaboration with European local offices

Delivery of high quality recommendations involving marketing mix optimisation, pricing strategies and discount modelling applied to plethora data sources with different granularities (nation, regional, pharmacy/HCP level)

Development of innovative methodologies to deliver custom solutions

Working with technology teams to support machine-learning algorithms in big data platforms

Our ideal candidate will have:

Master degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Computer Science or related field

At least 3-4 years of professional experience in quantitative data analysis

Experience in multichannel marketing and/or pricing optimisation strategies (media agencies, retail / FMCG, market research)

Very good knowledge and in depth understanding of Econometrics and Machine Learning methods

Experience applying Econometrics and Machine Learning methods to business questions

Very good knowledge of the higher statistical and econometric methods in theory and practice

Experience with handling Big Data

Proficient in R and/or Python

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including technical aspects of a project, ability to develop usable documentation, results interpretation and business recommendations

Local language skills to an advanced level (spoken and written), with complete fluency in English.

Strong analytic mindset and logical thinking capability, strong QC mindset

Demonstrates consulting, creativity, critical thinking, project planning, and attention to detail capabilities

Knowledge of pharmaceutical market and experience with pharmaceutical data (medical, hospital, pharmacy, claims data) would be a plus, but not a must
