Job Description

We are looking for a passionate aspiring Data Engineer who has critical thinking ability, attention to detail, good in making estimations, adhere to best practices of coding, has good fundamental knowledge of Maths and Statistical concepts.

As a member of the Data Science team, you will be working closely with data and have to perform tasks such as understanding data from the domain prospective, Data Engineering, processing, cleaning and verification of data, data analysis and visualization, develop machine learning models.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Apply mathematical skills to treat data

  • Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations

  • Use ETL process (Extract, Transform, Load) to transform and consolidate data from multiple sources

  • Analyze large and complex data sets from multiple sources to provide insights and validate the hypothesis

  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets

  • Provide recommendations on our ML and experimentation roadmap, proposing what to study and to develop to bring ML methods

  • Communicate insights and findings to the stakeholders

  • Analyze the information, identify patterns and trends to build effective dashboards

  • Use data to create visually exciting, interactive, and informative dashboards

  • Ensure that user guides, runbooks and technical documentation are readily available and updated

  • Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams

Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

  • 0-1 year of experience in any programming language

  • Ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly

  • Good knowledge of Data Science concepts and Machine Learning modeling

  • Good in any programming languages such as Python, R, JS etc

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills


Nice To Have


  • Some experience or certification in any Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Data Science

  • Knowledge of softwares like Jupyter Notebook/VS Code

  • Knowledge of any AWS Services such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3 etc

  • Open to learn new and different technologies

  • Good team player
