Training on basics of analytics In the context of becoming a data-driven organization, with an endeavor to educate its internal stakeholders about the importance of data and analytics, develop an analytic-mind set towards problem solving and decision making to create business impact. While the team has undertaken several initiatives in the last couple of years, a time-bound training programme with key stakeholders within the organisation that focuses on the functional elements of data analytics is now required. Objective of the training programme: To help our business teams develop understanding on the power & significance of analytics and its possibilities to create opportunities for business by deploying appropriate analytics tools in the Organisational context. Understanding how to create business opportunities using data [Developing Analytics-mindset] Understanding the subject of Analytics from a business standpoint Functional elements] We are looking for expert-driven training programme in the following areas [INDICATIVE ONLY] ? Understanding Business Analytics and its possibilities and inhibitors in corporate world Identification of potential areas for Analytics with a clear business objective Transforming a business problem to an Analytics Use Case Integrated approach towards solving Analytics use case Analytics mind-set Data attributes and data points that may be needed for the selected use case Visualisation Predictive analytics - Forecasting, Prediction, etc. Business impact assessment of Analytics (pre- & post-application) and deriving ROI from Analytics Specifically, the training programme should be focused on the ?functional elements? and not the ?statistical process? in itself. We are not looking for coding/ programming and deep dive into statistical methods. Relevant case studies can be covered while explaining the merits and applicability of each of the analytics tools. The training programme should be structured for ? Audience: Cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial/Finance, Strategy, IT with educational backgrounds ranging from Commerce/Engineering /Post-graduate in any field or an MBA Time frame: A 3-month programme with 2-3 hours classroom sessions over weekend - Saturday 3-5
