Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements and transform it into a specific data science problem
- Undertake business specific and research projects, with the goal of transforming healthcare
- Develop tools, techniques and theories to facilitate ongoing research activities of an organization
- Use predictive and prescriptive analytics tools to forecast what might happen using probabilities and confidence levels
- Maintain latest knowledge of existing and emerging scientific principles/theories/techniques and applies them to identify and develop innovative solutions, products and projects
- Contribute to the body of research within and/or outside the organization within area of expertise
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- BE/B Tech/MS/MCA/MSc (full time only) in Computer Science or related area
- Around 3 – 5 years of total experience
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience along with in-depth knowledge in Machine Learning and data science
- Experience in exploratory analysis, statistical modeling for predictive analytics
- Proficient in R, Python, H2O, Mahout, Spark-MLlib, Databases and Visualization tools, etc.
- Proficiency with agile or lean development practices
- Understanding for data, schema, data model, machine learning and how to bring efficiency in big data related life cycle
- Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
