  • Yes, it is possible to get a job as a Data Engineer as a fresher but you need more than just a degree. It is not possible to become a Data Engineer directly after college like becoming a Web Developer. To become a Data Engineer, you need to learn additional concepts and technologies related to Big Data (SQL, Hadoop, Programming languages like Python, Java and R, Database Architecture and many more). After this, you will have to get Big Data Certifications. And then you can get a job as a Big Data Engineer.

  • Yes, freshers are getting jobs in Hadoop. Startups to MNC are hiring Freshers on Hadoop. There is a lot of scope for freshers in Big data technology. Today is the generation of Hadoop. Big giants like Facebook, Twitter, etc everyone is using Hadoop to analyze the terabytes of data that is being generated.
    But, let me say something.
    If you are moving towards Hadoop, joining a good course will help you a lot and it will make you confident and stronger in this technology.
