What you’ll do on a typical day:
Perform detailed cost/revenue analysis based on input from several departments, including Sales, Engineering, Operations, IT etc.
Review financial summaries for projects and provide guidance on acceptable financial metrics and pricing/financing strategies
Interpret analysis output for sales presentations to buyers; assist Sales team with negotiation preparation
Conduct analyses under different pricing scenarios to compare net results
Collaborate with Pricing team leadership to establish and implement a pricing strategy and tactical plan
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Ability to use computer-generated decision support modeling
Experience with data mining using business intelligence software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with SQL and statistical packages
Highly organized work style with proven ability to multitask
Demonstrates an understanding of XPO Logistics quality policy (DOC1490) and environmental policy (DOC9855)
Maintains a safe and clean work environment; adheres to and enforces safe work practices and safety policies
Demonstrates a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objectives
Demonstrates commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the process
Bachelor’s degree
3 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis
Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or Finance
Master’s degree
3 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis in the transportation/supply chain field
